This lens is compact and causes the out of focus highlights (bokeh) to be annular, doughnut shaped rings of light.\u00a0The Minolta\u2019s RF 250mm f\/5.6 is one of the most popular Reflex lens as it products beautiful bokeh and very nice color. But some disadvantages are fixed aperture (cannot be stopped down beyond its built-in f\/5.6 setting) and it is manual focus lens for Minolta\u2019s MD mount only.\u00a0To use this lens with DSLR camera you need to change lens mount and to achieve accurate focus (manually only) without eyeglasses, simply adjust the diopter to suit your eyesight by turning the dioptric adjustment knob left or right so that the AF points in the viewfinder look sharp.
